Medusims® are virtual medical simulation media designed for educational purposes.

Medusims® are intended for healthcare professionals, and are used to establish how effective practices are, emphasising the importance of having reference material reflecting real-life scenarios.

The student uses an active learning method to familiarise herself with procedures, without any risk to patients.

REAL LIFE COMPLEXITY
The learner treats one or more patients in a 3D medical environment. She draws from various sources of information and medical media, chooses from a set of products and services, and relies on the help of a medical team if necessary – as in real life.

MAKING CHOICES
The student orders tests and makes diagnoses, administers treatment and then guides the patient through the care system. Some of his decisions have an immediate effect on the patient’s condition and others relate to his medium-term health.

FEEDBACK
The exercise ends with an assessment of how the treatment provided reflects good practice, medical aspects and medical-economic requirements, and is followed by a personalised debriefing.

A complete medusims® exercise takes between 25 and 40 minutes per case.

User-friendly medusims® are available in a variety of languages.
